LEARN and PLEDGE

A Home for our Neighbors

Funding

Places like the Jeremiah Community have been developed around the country with primarily private resources. We believe the same generosity exists in the Fredericksburg region. Funds are needed for site preparation and development, construction of houses and amenities, and operating expenses. Find our pledge form with more financial detail here.

House Sponsors

We need 25-30 churches, businesses or other partners who want to build a house for a neighbor. We estimate the per home cost to be approximately $60,000. Each sponsor will have the opportunity to pick the colors, name the house and meet the first person who gets to live there.

Tell the story

Help others understand that the conscience of a community can be measured in how it cares for its most vulnerable neighbor. Our chronically homeless neighbors need more than four walls, a roof and a case manager; they need community. . . Jeremiah Community.

Host a front-porch conversation

Gather your friends, family, members of your social groups, and invite them over for a conversation about why Jeremiah Community matters! Keep telling the story of our vision for the future, so that our movement to care for our most vulnerable neighbors grows and thrives.
