Our Vision

Our solution is to create a life-sharing community, where neighbors can live affordably, have purpose and meaningful relationships.

Housing

Small houses rented for $300 to $500 per month, including utilities. Each home built by a sponsoring church, business, or community member who want to be part of a local network working to welcome our neighbors home.

Relationship

Neighbors would be supported by a residential care team of case managers, volunteers, churches, and professional service providers. Opportunities will be presented in the life of the community. Missional residents will live onsite to provide support and model healthy community.

Purpose

Neighbors supported by a residential care team of case managers, volunteers, churches, and professional service providers. Opportunities for community engagement presented in the life of the neighborhood. Missional residents provide support and model healthy community.

our goal

A home for our neighbors

Experience tells us that people don’t become homeless when they run out of money. People become homeless when they run out of relationships. In order for chronically homeless neighbors to live successfully in our community and have a chance at living at their highest potential, there needs to be a housing solution that mirrors the kind of opportunities a person might have if they were being cared for by a family member. Micah is currently evaluating community support and potential locations for a Jeremiah Community to be developed.

We are looking to do a project of as small as 30 or as many as 160 small homes, plus various community amenities aimed at providing support for those living in the neighborhood to thrive.  Our current research is focused on Fredericksburg, Stafford or Spotsylvania, but open to what might be possible in Caroline or King George as well if transportation can be addressed.

Let’s build a home for our neighbors.
